Guidelines

Fitness challenge will run from May 20th through July 20th.

Enter by clicking on the hyperlink below or complete a registration form on the City’s Website. Forms can also be picked up in Human Resources.

Walk, jog, run, exercise or swim for 90 miles during the 60-day challenge and log your miles.

Biking may be logged using the formula 2 miles biked = 1 mile walked.

Walking and jogging is logged as mile for mile.

Exercise classes and swimming may be logged as every 15 minutes of exercise = 1 mile. 1 hour of exercise = 4 miles.

Walking and biking must be outside of your normal work or at home duties.

Every individual who completes 45 miles by Thursday, June 18th will be entered into a drawing. A copy of your log sheet, with the 45 miles completed, must be received in Human Resources by Monday, June 21st.

Every individual who completes 90 miles will be entered to win the individual grand prize and various other prizes donated by local businesses! If you complete 90 miles twice = 2 entries. Completed 90 mile log sheets must be received in Human Resources by July 21st.

As with any new exercise program, please consult your doctor or visit our Clinic prior to beginning this program.
