20th Avenue in Jones Park closes Monday
The Department of Leisure Services announced today that Roy Anderson Corp, the company contracted to rebuild Jones Park, is closing 20th Avenue, south of U.S. 90 for the foreseeable future beginning Monday.
The boat launch and harbor will not be accessible from 20th Avenue while construction in the park continues, however the 25th Avenue entrance will remain open. Officials expect the road to be close through most of the summer.
